Kevin Holmes
Hip Hop

Kevin Holmes, a dancer/choreographer hails from the Bronx, the birthplace of Hip Hop.  Growing up in the Bronx he navigated several challenges of negative peer pressure which he overcame and found his way in life through dance. Kevin trained with pioneers in the Hip Hop world and now specializes in the Krump style of movement.

He is a member/choreographer of the Bronx based Hip Hop Theory Dance Company where he won 1st place in the Nike Step-Up Championship.  Kevin was a featured dancer in Rihanna’s VMA performance and is regularly featured in Bose commercials. He has performed in showcases and conventions, such as World of Dance, Prelude, Sybarite Love is Love and Carnival choreographers Ball. 

He is currently dancing with inner-city children at a Community based organization known as Phipps Neighborhoods.  His long term goal is to spread love and build a better community through movement, especially for his daughter.  Kevin is thrilled to return to Dance Cavise teaching our advanced level HipHop.
