Kaila Burritt hails from Austin, Texas and has been dancing since the age of 2. Her formal training includes at the Royal Academy of Dance program and Summer Intensive at American Ballet Theatre. She has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical and Tap.
Kaila spent several years in the competition dance circuit where she was captain of her drill team. She then went on to study at the University of The Arts, graduating with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
Now living in NYC, Kaila works as a professional dancer, actress, singer, and teacher. Some of her professional credits include dancing in Catch Me If You Can, Cabaret, and Mamma Mia.
Kaila has been teaching the art of dance both in Texas and New York since age 15. She is passionate about dance education and approaches teaching with a sense of kindness first, teaching self-love and joy through dance. She is excited to be on the Dance Cavise staff and is looking forward to many seasons at the studio.
