BROADWAY MASTER CLASS TEACHERS
Marina Lazzaretto
West Side Story & An American in Paris

Originally from Alberta, Canada, for the last 15 years Marina Lazzaretto has been a New York City-based dancer, singer, and actress. She has performed all over the U.S. and Internationally in productions such as: The Broadway and First National Touring companies of An American In Paris, the First National Tours of CATS and Wicked, the First National Tour of Twyla Tharp’s Come Fly Away, the Off Broadway Companies of Trip of Love and Doctor Faustus and the Broadway Company of West Side Story.
Most recently Marina has been dancing for a new Apple TV Musical Series, set to air in 2021. She has also been seen on television with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” and “SNL,” on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” “Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris” and “Fosse/Verdon”. Marina has taught extensively across the US and Canada teaching master classes with broadway shows, workshops, technique classes and private lessons. She has been a teacher for Broadway Artists Alliance, Camp Broadway, Be Discovered, and Playhouse Square to name a few. Marina teaches technique in ballet, jazz, tap and musical theatre. She is passionate about passing on her love of dance and her knowledge of safe, technique-based movement.

Michelle Mercedes

Michelle Mercedes is a Miami native and graduate of the Florida State University. She has worked with Urban Bush Women and Dance Lab New York. New York credits: I Married an Angel (New York City Center), Samson et Dalila (The Metropolitan Opera). Regional credits: The Wiz (Virginia Repertory Theatre), Mary Poppins, Crazy For You, Footloose (Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre). She is currently in the cast of the revival of West Side Story on Broadway and pursuing an M.B.A. at the University of Florida. Michelle has taught extensively across the US and Canada teaching master classes with broadway shows, workshops, technique classes and private lessons. She has been a teacher for Broadway Artists Alliance, Camp Broadway, Be Discovered, and Playhouse Square to name a few. She is passionate about passing on her love of dance and her knowledge of safe, technique-based movement.
